Ophiuroidea note details
This species seems to be an Amphiodia after all. The oral papillae and tentacle scales are similar to Amphiodia. It also has thorny processes on the marginal disc scales, similar to the subgenus Amphispina. The marginal plates with articulated papillae typical of Ophiophragmus are lacking. Pending a formal revision, it is here kept in Ophiophragmus.
