Description Arms five to eight times the disc diameter. Disc scales covered by spines, near the small radial shields the spines are less dense. Oral shields very broad, somewhat trilobed, prowimal rounded edge separating broadly the two adoral plates. Oral arm plates somewhat broader than long, basal and distal edges straight, lateral ones convex. Single tentacle scale, with one or two points on the tip. Arms colour dark or light green and white; with darker green bands across each aboral arm plate separated by a light area from an even darker narrow band across the juncture of two aboral arm plates. Habitat: hiding under sea urchins in rock hollows, coral reefs. (Balinsky, 1957).
General distribution: East Africa (Tortonese, 1980). [details]
