Three new genera and 4 new species from the intestines of marine fishes, caught in the Bay of Bengal, Puri, Orissa, are described. Parheterorchis orissai gen. et sp. nov. from Scatophagus argus most closely resembles the genus Heterorchis in having subsymmetrical testes, an intertesticular uterus and the presence of prepharynx but differs from it in having its genital pore immediately preacetabular, aspinose body and in the absence of seminal receptacle and Laurer's canal. Pseudogomtiotrema caranxi gen. et sp. nov. from Therapon [Terapon] puta most closely resembles the genus Gomtia in having its excretory vesicle straight and dorsal to the testes and tandem testes at posterior extremity. It differs from it in the extension of the caeca up to the posterior extremity, in having ventral sucker one quarter instead of one fifth of the body length and in the absence of a seminal receptacle. Bilqeesotrema theraponi gen. et sp. nov. also from T. puta closely resembles the genus Aponurus in having a seminal vesicle overlapping the ventral sucker but differs from it in having symmetrical instead of diagonal testes. Sclerodistomum chirocentrusi sp. nov. from Chirocentrus dorab differs from all previously described species of the genus in having a smaller body, 6 vitelline tubes (3 on each side extending from the level of the ovary to a little posterior to the tips of the caeca) and in the extension of the uterus posterior to the ovary. This is thought to be the first report of the genus from India.
