Authority There is no "Prionospio tenuis Fewkes". However, Hartman catalogue p.386 records Prionospio tenuis (Verrill) sensu Fewkes (a Magelona larva) as "Prionospio tenuis Fewkes", as if newly authored by Fewkes, 1883, but this is quite wrong - Fewkes was obviously only referencing Verrill's species to which he questionably referred the larval form he described.
