Description Spherical, up to 2 cm diameter. Surface divided into raised polygonal areas separated by inhalant channels. Tough pinkish-orange rind, 2-3 mm thick, over a softer mustard gold interior with tough radiating spicule tracts. Habitat: shallow lagoons on coral rubble in crevices, under rock. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. Allied species T. seychellensis (Richmond, 1997). [details]
