Description Colonies are laminar, encrusting or columnar, columns being club-shaped. Corallites are subcereoid, closely compacted, angular in outline, with a solid conical columella. Usually 10 septa are present and these are fused with the columella. The coenosteum is covered by fine spinules. Polyps are extended only at night. Colour: The oral disc is green, the coenosteum brown. Abundance: Rare. (Veron, 1986 <57>) [details]
