H. fusco-olivacea in Clark & Rowe (1971).
According to Clark & Rowe (1971), from the original descriptions of Holothuria fusco-olivacea Fisher, 1907, ludwigi Lampert, 1889 and olivacea Ludwig, 1888, it is almost impossible to separate these three nominal species on any aspect of their morphology. Should re-examination of the type-materia show that they are conspecific then the name olivacea has priority. [details]
synonymy Needs confirmation: could also be a misidentification by Clark (1932) and by Tortonese (1953). In Rowe & Gates (1995) is treated as a synonym of Holothuria (Stauropoda) olivacea. [details]
