Description Description: Irregularly encrusting, 10-12 cm long and wide. Surface smooth to faintly domed and undulating. Oscules regularly spaced, elevated up to 0.5 cm. Exudes copious clear mucus when broken. Fairly compressible and crumbly with granular texture. Colour brilliant red with a whitish sheen due to surface sand-grains. Habitat: vertical faces on fringing reef (Richmond, 1997). [details]
