Synonymy Arwidsson (1922:41) found that Heteromaldane was the result of an error of observation by Ehlers (see the full note under Heteromaldane aequalis Ehlers, 1908). Light (1991) continued the synonymy to Maldane, following Hartman catalogue, but without explanation. Hartman labelled the only species indeterminable [details]
