Editor's comment Possibly this name was a Brtish museum label name of Baird's, and seen by McIntosh (1885) there, but Baird (1868) had published several new species of Amphinome, and did not use this name. Hartman catalogue (1959) listed the name as authored Baird in McIntosh 1885 (p.29) "casual mention. Indeterminable". It certainly was a casual mention, but obviously Baird had nothing to do with the presence of the unreferenced, undescribed (nomen nudum) name in McIntosh. [details]
