Nomenclature Described under the International Code of Phylogenetic Nomenclature by Dayrat (2005) as "Discodorididae aliciae, a name that is unavailable under the ICZN because the specific epithet was not combined with an available genus name. The 2010 establishment of the name Montereina aliciae is itself problematic: the name is tagged as a "new combination", rather than as "new species" as required by Art. 16.1. [P. Bouchet, 15 Aug. 2011] and the work itself is not consistently using binomial nomenclature. [details]
