The following species of digeneans are described from marine fish of India: Prosorhynchus epinepheli, P. atlánticas, P. corinemi, P. tsengi, Rhipidocotyle carthai n.sp., Alicornis thapari n.sp., Dollfustrema sp., Mehracola ovocaudatum, Pseudallacanthochasmus grandispinus, Paracryptogonimus americanus, Neo-metadena lutiani n.g., n.sp. and Centrovarium marinum n.sp. R. carthai from the intestine of Psettodes erumei at Visakhapatanam differs from R. septpapillata in having attenuated body extremities and a shorter excretory vesicle and in the shape and size of the eggs. A. thapari from the intestine of Caranx sexfasciatus at Tuticorin differs from A. drrudiscoides in the absence of the peculiar disc-like anterior end of the cirrus sac and the size of the eggs. Neometadena differs from Metadena and Pseudometadena in having a pre-testicular, trilobed ovary (the type and only species, N. lutiani, was from the intestine of Lutjanus johnii at Karwar and L. fulviflamma at Tuticorin). Centrovarium marinum differs from C. lobotes in the sucker ratio and in the position of the bipartite vesicle. D.S.J.
