Etymology authors: "The specific epithet hongkongensa refers to the type locality of Hong Kong' [Editor: should be hongkongensis] [details]Spelling Incorrect Latinisation. Marphysa is feminine, therefore the suffix to indicate place should have been -ensis, which is the correct adjectival ending used for both masculine and feminine genera. The suffix for a neuter genus would be -ense. The suffix -ensa does not exist as a correct Latinisation. [details]
