The figure captions of figures 1 and 2 of plate II seem to be incorrect and switched. While fig. 1 of plate II is not referred in the text, the fig. 2 of the same plate is referred as representing one of the "longer translucent bristles" of Sabellides borealis. However, in the figure captions of plate II, it is stated that fig. 1 represents an "Anterior bristle of Sabellides borealis, Sars", fig. 2 a "Longer anterior bristle of Laphania boecki, var. hystricis", and fig. 3 a "Shorter bristle with broad tip [of Sabellides borealis]". From the descriptions of the species in the text, it seems that the correct figure captions would have been: Plate II. fig. 1: "Anterior bristle of Laphania boecki, var. hystricis"; fig. 2: "Longer anterior bristle of Sabellides borealis, Sars"; and fig. 3: "Shorter bristle with broad tip [of Sabellides borealis]".
