Distribution Northeast Atlantic, so far known with certainty from Morocco and Scandinavia north to Tromsø, above the Arctic Circle....  
Distribution Northeast Atlantic, so far known with certainty from Morocco and Scandinavia north to Tromsø, above the Arctic Circle. Kossmagk-Stephan (1985: 78) recorded the species at Helgoland, Germany, but specified that it occurred “exclusively in the seawater outflow of the Helgoland Aquarium”. In subtidal, fine or coarse sands, at 35–500 m depth. Intertidal records from Ireland (Locke & Coates 1998) are suspect [details]
