Nomenclature Canephorus, which must be the type genus, is not mentioned in the creation of a new subfamily Canephorinae. Additionally Canephorus is a corrected spelling for Corephorus Malmgren, 1846, and already known to be a synonym of Terebellides. Only Terebellides and T. stroemii are included in the new subfamily.
