Type designation The type species is Antinoe sarsi Kinberg, 1866 because Augener created the subgenus for it. In the same work he also includes Polynoe badia Theel in new subgenus Antinoella, but the new subgenus was named only in association with the description of the new combination Harmothoe (Antinoella) sarsi. [details]
