Taxonomy This is based on Biemna corrugata sensu Topsent, 1890, 1892, not sensu Bowerbank, 1866, which according to Burton (1930) is a Mycale with very rare anisochelae. Burton erected a new species Tylodesma (=Desmacella) topsenti Topsent's material. [details]
