Synonymy Described by Czerniavsky from Alupka, Crimea, approximate coordinates 44.41°N 34.06°E, depth 10 m (syntypes ZIN-RAS 11423). As indicated under the species trearment of Van Soest (2024: 40) it is proposed to merge the forma with the species Haliclona foraminosa.
