Description: Colonies are sub-arborescent, bottlebrush, with upright main branches. Corallites are elongate tubes with round calices. Colour: usually uniform pale to dark brown, occasionally blue. Abundance: abundant over a wide range of environments and may be a dominant species on unconsolidated substrates (Veron, 1986). [details]
