Description: Length: 89-99 cm; wingspan: 198-244 cm. Colour: Adult: Head and body white, with a grey nape, mantle, cheeks and pale grey collar; wing black above with narrow leading and trailing edges to under-wing and a small black patch on the under-side where the leading edge of the wing joins the body; tail grey. Bill orange-pink to greyish-grey but always with an orange tip; immature: similar to adult except bill grey with a nearly black tip. Habitat: open ocean. <388><391><393> [details] | ||||||||||||||||
