Diagnosis: Comatulidina with no aboral star; cirrus sockets without distinct ornament; often with shallow radial coelomic depressions or radiating furrows in adoral side of centrodorsal and aboral side of radials. Basals lack rod-shaped interradial extensions. Radial articular facets sloping to almost parallel to oral-aboral axis; usually flat and separated by narrow interradial margins. Interarticular ligament fossae large, tall and broad. Adoral muscle fossae usually forming narrow crescentic adoral band; sometimes triangular. Radial cavity with spongy calcareous plug. Oral pinnules may be more or less carinate. Ambulacral covering plates inconspicuous or absent. Mouth central. [details]
