Nomenclature As pointed out by Aguado, Martin & Nishi (2008) Geminosyllis Imajima, (1966) is a superfluous name created by Imajima to replace Trypanoseta. Imajima (1966) apparently did not realise that all he was required to do was promote Trypanoseta to full genus rank from subgenus rank under Trypanosyllis, and instead he created a new genus name. [details]
