Synonymy The ICZN (1991) disregarded Clymenia Örsted, 1844 when considering the status of its competitor later names Myriochele and Psammocollus because Clymenia was then thought to be a junior homonym. However the senior Clymenia is a misspelling of the original name of Clymenea, so this treatment was possibly misguided. [details]
