From editor or global species database
Diagnosis Created by Eisig (1887) as the subgenus opposite to Clistomastus, but as it apparently includes (by later synonymy) the Notomastus type species, it is the same as the nominal subgenus, Notomastus, and thus an unnecessary name. Eisig characterised Tremomastus species as having well-developed genital pores especially at reproduction. There is copulation and internal fertilization with the gametes emptied through the genital tubes. [details]
