Habitat Sandy mud beach, and coarse sand at shelf depths (50-79% sand; 18-41% silt; 4-9% clay). [details]

Holotype Description of species by Hartman (1936) included prostomium and stated that it had up to 125 segments. Wilson (1988) redescribed the species based on the holotype (USNM 20337), a headless posterior fragment with 177 segments.  [details]
