Homonymy Scala proxima Thiele, 1925, is a junior homonym of S. proxima Douvillé, 1904, and a secondary homonym of Clathrus proximus de Boury, 1890. However, the taxonomic identity of Thiele's species needs clarification, and the establishment of a nomen novum would be premature and is not advisable. [details]
