Habitat According to Paterson & Gibson (2003: 739), ''Although A. abranchiata is described as being collected from a sand/gravel substrate, one of the A. abranchiata syntypes was found to be fouled with sponge macrosclere spicules (oxea) suggesting that sponges were associated with that collection.''

Reproduction ''The presence of enlarged moniliform body segments and the presence of regenerating fragments suggest that architomic asexual reproduction occurs in this species'' (Blake, 1983: 253).  [details]
