Status Names in Uchida (2004) are unavailable. There is no deposition information, contrary to ICZN Article 16. No holotype specimen-lot identifiers are given, and no indication of where specimens might be held. Uncopodarke if an available name, would have been a synonym of Microphthalmus. Westheide (2013) placed the single species there. However, the name was validated as Uncopodarke Uchida in Uchida, Lopéz & Sato, 2019 (q.v.). Salazar-Vallejo et al (2019) treated the validated name as distinct from Microphthalmus when they raised Microphthalmidae to full family rank [details]
