Type locality Island of Mahe´, Republic of Seychelles, Indian Ocean, 4 47 S, 55 31 E (-4.7833, 55.5167 as given, but more like -4.7782, 55.5251 as described). Reef flat in front of the east coast beach ‘‘Anse Forbans’’, in extremely clean coarse sand shallow subtidal areas. [details]
