Editor's comment Includes former Questidae. Past Orbiniidae subfamilies, other than the de facto nominal subfamily Orbiniinae, appear to be of questionable utility and may require re-validation. However, Blake (2017) maintained use of Microrbiniinae Blake, 2000 for Orbiniella and Proscoloplos (and also it must include the type genus Microrbinia Hartman). It is unclear as yet if Methanoariciinae (for Methanoaricia Blake, 2000) is a required subfamily.
