Synonymy According to A.M. Clark (1989). Type lost or genus and species based only on Pl. 8, Fig. 7a,b. of Seba 1758; probably synonymous with Craspidaster hesperus (Muller & Troschel, 1840) according to Goto (1914). This would, however, invalidate Craspidaster Sladen, 1889 so it is desirible that the name Nauricia be formally rejected by the ICZN. [details]
