Remark Vermiculum pervium, originally named by Montagu (1803: 518-519), based on a figure by G. Walker (1784, pl.1 fig.12), which depicts a fairly non-descript minute straight shell with a small spiralised beginning, was thought to be a Caecum by Mörch (1863: 464), but also attributed to the serpulid Spirorbis pervius (Montagu, 1803) by Fleming (1825: 245) [details]
