Three species of hydrozoan and 42 species of scleractinian corals were identified among 248 specimens collected from maximum depths of 31 m during a survey along the outer edge of the Belizean barrier platform near Carrie Bow Cay and Curlew Bank. This report includes important synonyms, morphological observations, and dis- tributional data, as well as photographs of all species. Diversity of the Carrie Bow Cay coral fauna is high, as compared with adjacent areas of the Caribbean, although not all habitats have yet been equally well searched.
