Description Loeblich, A. R., Tappan, H. N., 1987: Foraminiferal genera and their classification. Van Nostrand, Reinhold Co. New York 1728 pp. Plate 721, Figs. 1-7: L. Paleocene (Danian), 1-4, Nugssuaq, W. Greenland; 5-7, Greensand at Klagshamn, Sweden. 1-3, Opposite sides and apertural view of hypotype, x 140 [Although the illustrations do not appear very close, this specimen was said by Hansen (1970, p. 103) to have been "compared with the holotype and found to be identical, except for the central arch in the aperture in the Greenland individuals. The species determination has been confirmed by the late Dr. R Brotzen." This is tentatively accepted in L&T (1987)]; 4, slightly oblique view of spiral side showing coarse pores, SEM, x 243 (1-4, from Hansen, 1970); 5-7, opposite sides and apertural view of holotype, x 100 (5-7, from Brotzen, 1948).
