Diagnosis Test compressed, low trochospiral, all whorls visible on the flat spiral side although the coiling is partially involute, final whorl with eight to twelve chambers, chambers broad, low, and strongly arched, curving back at the periphery on both sides, weakly convex umbilical side involute and umbonate, sutures strongly curved, limbate, elevated, periphery carinate; wall calcareous, optically radial, spiral side coarsely perforate; aperture interiomarginal, a small equatorial arch with a slight lip that may extend somewhat onto the spiral side.
