Diagnosis Test lenticular to nautiloid, planispiral or very slightly irregular in coiling, about two to three whorls present, seven to nine chambers in the final whorl, umbonal fillings prominent, septa oblique, arched back toward the periphery; wall calcareous, hyaline, very finely perforate, some specimens possibly recrystallized; aperture basal or areal in the lower part of the apertural face.
