Synonymy Loeblich and Tappan (1987) shared a different opinion on the synonymy between 'kerfornei' and 'globula', p. 181: "Remarks: Poignant (1964, p. 215) regarded Cribrobulimina floridana Cole, 1942, from the Eocene of Florida, and Arenagula globula as conspecific with Lituonella kerfornei Allix, 1922 from the M.
