Holotype HVH 125, Eocene, Claiborne, Cook Mountain Fm.; “from Sample No. 86,” (JH-111): “Very fossiliferous, slightly glauconitic marl 12 feet thick. Taken five feet below top of slope leading down to creek branch, and in upper two feet of marl, in ditch on south side of improved road in the NE¼ SW¼ SW¼ sec. 28, T. 13 N., R. 3 W. ...
