Existing Resources

This section provides the definitions and a good differentiation between 'education' and 'training' with a number of illustrative examples with good and bad practices and the lessons learned. This will be also supported by the results of the Survey on ICZM courses and programmes in Europe being carried out by theme 10. The relevance of different existing platforms for informal capacity buiding efforts are also explored. Finally, the learning cycle for ICZM and the different factors affecting its effectiveness are presented.
