Seven species of exogonine syllids, one of which new to science, collected by BIOTA/FAPESP/Bentos Marinho Project at Martim de Sá rocky shore and along Caraguatatuba Bay are here described, after examination under stereo-, light, and scanning electron microscopes. Descriptions include comparative tables, allowing evaluation of intraspecific variation. Keys for the identification of all species of Exogoninae (Syllidae) identified in Brazil until present are provided; several of these species are new official records for the Brazilian coast. The species herein described are: Parexogone arminii, Erinaceusyllis centroamericana, Erinaceusyllis subterranea, Exogone breviantennata, Parexogone anseforbansensis, Parexogone caribensis, and Sphaerosyllis annulata n. sp.
