Ten species of magelonids have been collected at Phuket Island, Thailand. The following species were obtained on the west coast of Phuket Island at depths ranging from 10 to 30 m: Magelona cincta, M. crenulifrons, M. kamala n. sp., M. methae n. sp., M. mickminni n. sp., M. pectinata n. sp., M. petersenae n. sp., M . pygmaea n. sp. , and M. tinae n. sp. Of these, M. pectinata and M. tinae have dorso- and ventrolateral flaps, referred to as lateral pouches, between setigers 11 and 12; in M. pectinata the pouches also occur between more posterior setigers.
An intertidal species, Magelona noppi n. sp., was collected in Krabi and Trang provinces, on the Thai west coast of the Malay Peninsula.
The 10 species of magelonids are described and illustrated; they represent 8 new species and 2 new records for Thailand. A pictorial key to all 10 species is provided.
