Polychaete samples were made in 10 soft-bottom stations in depths from 14 to 77 m, with a 0.1 m2 Van Veen grab, as well as by hand on shallow rocky bottoms. We record 59 species belonging to 24 families in 8 orders and made an illustrated key that includes a brief diagnosis, the collection zone and abundances per station for each species. Onuphidae has the largest number of species (11), but the most abundant species was the sabellarid ldanthyrsus pennatus (Peters). Seven taxa are new records for Mexico. Two are range extensions from California: Harmothoe fragilis (Moore) and Pista fasciata (Grube); two are range extensions from Panama: Lepidonotus pomarae [sic for pomareae] panamensis Hartman and Terebella gorgonae Monro; and three are new for the Eastem Tropical Pacific Ocean: Benhamipolynoe sp, Horstileanira sp, and Synelmis ewingi Wolf.
