South Atlantic Ocean, Tristan da Cunha, Nightingale Island, sta. 88, off north-eastern coast (geocoordinates not provided, estimated with gazetteer to be approximately lat. -37.414º, long. -12.465º); 20-40 m, outside Macrocystis belt, hard bottom with stones from the size of a hazel nut to that of a fist, strongly overgrown with sponges, hydroids, pelecypods, etc.
