Status ZooBank registration statement is provided for the taxon. The description is contained in a brief diagnosis in the abstract, and in author additional files, appendix S1 and S5-8 (the figures), which are not part of the main article. The holotype registration code is mentioned in the main article but not in the form of a designation as the holotype. According to the authors’ on p.8 “the taxonomic section [is] present in the Appendix S1. Diagnoses and type designation are present [there] to fulfil the requirements of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, …” However, the journal explicitly states "Please note: The publisher is not responsible for the content or functionality of any supporting information supplied by the authors". Earlier opinion from experts (eg. Krell (2015) in Bull Zoo Nomecl. 72(1)) was that supplements did not fulfil the Code requirements. Later opinion from experts (on Taxacom list, January 2020) is that publication of Code-requirements for nomenclature only in electronic supplements, even supplements split into several files, is not prevented by the current Code. A ZooBank registration in the article is still required. [details]
