From editor or global species database
Spelling Eighteen years after the species was named the authors Lovell & Fitzhugh (2020) change Levinsenia kirbyae to L kirbyorum on the basis that the species "was named in honor of three persons" not one. However, ICZN Article 32.5.1 excludes incorrect latinization as an inadvertent error (a non-author-related error during layout & printing) that must be corrected. The 1999 4th edition Code excluded an 3rd Code example that previously suggested a singular versus plural error in formulating a personal name used as a species name should be corrected. This change is not necessary. [details]
