Type designation There seems to exist some confusion in the bibliography concerning the type species of the subgenus and its way of designation. The type species is Trypanosyllis asterobia Okada, 1933, by original designation: "Trypanosyllis (Trypanobia), new subgenus / Type T. (Trypanobia) asterobia Okada, 1933" (Imajima & Hartman, 1964: 128). [details]
