Etymology Not stated. The specific epithet pauciseta is composed by the Latin adjective pauci, form of paucus and meaning 'few' or 'little', and the Latin noun seta, alternative form of chaeta and meaning 'bristle', and refers presumably to the presence of notochaetae on only 13 thoracic segments.
