Diet Elías & Bremec (2003: 185) found sand grains in the gut contents of the species, considering it to be likely a non-selective deposit feeder, as advocated by Fauchald & Jumars (1979) for opheliids. [details]

Etymology "The species is dedicated to Dr. José María “Lobo” Orensanz, for his many important contributions to the knowledge of polychaetes from the area [Argentina and Mar de Plata]" (Elías & Bremec, 2003: 185). [details]
