Homonymy Johnston gives no indication the species is new, but equally he does not mention a previous authority. This is the same as for C. fuscescens on the same page, which is a new name. The name is a senior primary homonym to C. flavescens Grube, 1873 as indicated in the Hartman catalogue. Hartman oddly relies upon a second-hand mention in McIntosh, 1915 and does not give the date for Johnston's name, although it is given in McIntosh. [details]
